Wind Path[1] is a city in the Kingdom of Mistral. It is located to the north of the main city of Mistral.
Due to its distance from the capital, the city is farther from the governing council's watch. This makes it an ideal location for thieves, assassins and other people who wish to remain hidden from the authorities similar to the city of Kuchinashi south of Mistral.
History
Wind Path is mentioned in Remnant: The Game. There is a card called Smugglers of Wind Path which allows a player to take two cards from an opponent's hand.
Its name also appears in the departures list shown in the Volume 6 premiere, "Argus Limited".
As revealed in RWBY: Roman Holiday, the kingpin Roman Torchwick was born here, and left at a children's orphanage in the city by his mother. According to him, Grimm sometimes got past the city guards and went on rampages.
